Get Fishing Custom Rod & Baitworks

G.E.T Fishing Custom Rod & Baitworks is Peterborough’s one-stop live bait and tackle shop — you’ll find us at 982 Trans Canada Highway.

I’m Gord. I’ve been proudly catching giant Kawartha fish for over four decades, and everything in this shop comes from that time on the water. We build high-quality, affordable tackle right here in-house — gear that works on the lakes and species in our own backyard, because it’s the same stuff I fish with.

We’re also the proud home of Proven Producer Lures and Rigs — our very own brand, proven on Kawartha water.

What we do:

• Live bait — minnows and worms, plus seasonal leeches, waxworms and maggots
• Custom rods built to order
• Rod repair — send it in, we’ll bring it back to life
• Our famous ice rods — the performance reviews say it all
• Our in-store Ontario Tackle Vendor space, featuring some of the best handmade Ontario tackle makers there are

Keep your rods bent, your lines tight, and G.E.T Fishing!
